
Ladies! Jump-start your day with our Circuit Camps!
With the busy schedules that women have today it can be challenging to find time to attend to your fitness needs. Have you ever told yourself that you're going to go for a run or to the gym after work but found that when the time comes you're just too tired? That's why we designed our Circuit Camps to run early in the morning - before the pressures of your day can sabotage you. All you have to do is show up, and we'll take care of the rest.
These camps are exclusively for women, and are conducted in a positive atmosphere that reinforces safety, respect, and motivation - all while delivering a wicked workout that will help prepare you for the rest of your day. It's a high-intensity program that keeps the heart rate elevated, which in turn burns more calories, strengthens the muscles, and improves your cardiovascular system. The workouts are programmed such that adequate recovery time is allowed before exercising the same muscle groups again. When an individual trains the same muscle group every day they will begin the next workout while the muscle is still in recovery, negating the benefit of the previous workout.

And every class will run you through a variety of exercises, each of which has been carefully selected to challenge a particular aspect of your fitness. We also constantly vary the circuits from class to class, which prevents your body from reaching a plateau; instead it is forced to constantly adapt to the demands of each new movement, which means that you get better results faster. And because we understand that proper fitness is more than just a lot of sweat, we make sure that we take the time to start every class with a proper warm-up and end with ample flexibility training. These important facets are key to preparing your muscles and joints for further exercise, improving flexibility and reducing the risk of injury.
Each Circuit Camp begins and ends with a fitness assessment, so you are able to see how much you've improved and numbers to set goals towards. All of the exercises are designed to scale to your ability, so whether you're a complete beginner or a hard-bodied veteran you'll find yourself constantly challenged but never left behind. In addition to body-weight exercises, a variety of equipment such as kettlebells, skipping ropes, dumbbells, medicine balls and heavy bags are used to keep things interesting.

From May through August the Circuit Camps are held outdoors, and are offered on a 5 day/week and 3 day/week basis.
