A certified Personal Fitness Trainer can help you achieve your fitness goals by working with you every step of the way. Each program begins with a full health and fitness assessment to see where you are. From there, your trainer will help you develop your overall goal into one or more "SMART" goals. These are goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound. By setting SMART goals, you'll be able to stay on track.
With goals established, your trainer will then take you through all of the steps necessary to get you there with tailored exercise programs that address your unique requirements. Depending on your goals, your trainer may design your program to include circuit training, interval training, resistance training, flexibility training or sports specific drills.
A personal trainer not only designs a custom workout plan for you, but also watches out for you while you do it, making sure that you have proper form and technique so that you both work the proper muscles and avoid injuries. And with a regular schedule, a personal trainer can help you to stay motivated and on track. Personalized training can even include a nutritional component, to help make sure that you aren't undoing all of the benefits of that hard work in between workouts.
